CUPID IQ™ Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Identity, contact, and eligibility information, such as name, email address, age or age confirmation, authentication information, and location or geographic eligibility information when required for a particular Service.
• Relationship and personal-development information, including responses about relationship experiences, capacities, patterns, self-relationship, discernment, attachment, communication, intimacy, preferences, beliefs or worldview, personal practices, experiences, and reflections.
• Profile and relationship-service information, such as profile details, preferences, photos, audio or video, prompts, feedback, suggested matches, and choices made within the Services.
• Information you choose to provide through multi-participant, relationship, or reflection Services.
• Identity-verification or liveness information when a Service requires it, including information processed by a specialized provider.
• Payment and transaction information for paid Services. Payment-card details may be collected directly by a payment processor rather than stored by CUPID IQ.
• Consent and communication choices, support requests, feedback, survey responses, referral information, and other communications.

Information generated or collected through the Services

• Scores, reports, narratives, insights, compatibility indicators, recommendations, eligibility or progression information, and other derived or inferred information.
• Versioned or longitudinal records of your participation where appropriate to provide and personalize Services over time.
• Activity and operational records, such as session status, progress, timestamps, authentication or verification status, report access, email status, subscription status, consent history, and security or error events.
• Acquisition, referral, and campaign information, such as source codes, referral identifiers, and UTM parameters.
• Technical, device, security, and usage information, such as IP address, browser or device information, request metadata, cookies, similar technologies, and security logs.

Sensitive information

Depending on what you choose to provide and which Services you use, CUPID IQ may process information treated as sensitive under some laws, including information concerning intimate relationships or sex life, religious or philosophical beliefs, health or wellness experiences, psychedelic or plant-medicine experiences, account credentials, precise location if expressly requested by a Service, or biometric information used for identity or liveness verification. CUPID IQ will use sensitive information only for disclosed and permitted purposes and will provide additional notices, choices, or consent when required by law.

2. How we use information

• Provide, personalize, secure, and administer Relationship Intelligence and related Services.
• Generate reports, insights, compatibility assessments, recommendations, and other participant-requested outputs.
• Use appropriate information from your participation over time to personalize later Services and improve the relevance of insights, compatibility assessments, and recommendations.
• Authenticate participants, verify identity or eligibility where required, prevent fraud or misuse, and protect participants and the Services.
• Provide multi-participant or relationship Services that participants choose to use, subject to the privacy protections described below.
• Deliver reports and essential service communications and send optional communications according to your choices.
• Measure acquisition, referrals, campaign effectiveness, product usage, reliability, accessibility, and performance.
• Conduct research, methodology validation, quality assurance, and product or service improvement, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.
• Create aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, planning, and improvement where reasonably designed not to identify an individual.
• Comply with law, enforce terms, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

Some of these purposes may involve automated and algorithm-based processing to generate scores, insights, compatibility assessments, recommendations, and other outputs from your information.

3. Multi-participant privacy

Each participant controls their own CUPID IQ information. One participant cannot consent on behalf of another participant to CUPID IQ's collection, use, or disclosure of that other participant's private information unless legally authorized to do so. When a Service involves two or more participants, CUPID IQ will disclose participant-specific information within that Service only as described to the affected participant and with the authorization or other lawful basis applicable to that disclosure.

4. How we disclose information

• Service providers performing hosting, storage, authentication, email delivery, communications management, payments, analytics, advertising measurement, identity verification, security, troubleshooting, customer support, or similar functions on our behalf.
• Other participants only when a Service is designed to share participant-facing information and the applicable sharing action, permission, or other lawful basis exists.
• Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors when reasonably necessary.
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Services.
• A successor or transaction participant in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable safeguards.

CUPID IQ does not sell personal information for money. If CUPID IQ uses advertising or measurement practices that constitute a regulated sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity under applicable law, CUPID IQ will provide the notices and choices required by that law.

5. Analytics, advertising, attribution, and referrals

CUPID IQ may use first-party and third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, and measurement technologies to understand how people discover and use the Services, measure campaigns and referrals, improve CUPID IQ, and reach people who may be interested in the Services. These technologies may use cookies, pixels, similar technologies, campaign parameters, or referral identifiers.

CUPID IQ may associate an acquisition or referral source with a participant record for measurement and service improvement. Referral attribution does not disclose a participant's private answers, reports, scores, or other Relationship Intelligence results to the person who referred them. Where applicable law requires consent, opt-out rights, or other controls for non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, CUPID IQ will provide them.

6. Communications

Report delivery, authentication, security, privacy, purchase, subscription, and other necessary service messages may be sent as part of providing requested Services. Optional marketing or promotional communications are subject to the choices presented to you and may be unsubscribed from at any time. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service messages.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

CUPID IQ may use first-party cookies and similar technologies necessary for sessions, authentication, security, fraud prevention, report access, preferences, attribution, and operation of the Services. CUPID IQ may also use non-essential analytics or advertising technologies. Where required by applicable law, CUPID IQ will provide appropriate notice, consent, or opt-out controls.

8. Retention

CUPID IQ retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing and personalizing Services over time, preserving appropriate version history, maintaining security and integrity, complying with law, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may vary by record type, sensitivity, participant status, and legal or operational need.

Incomplete sessions or temporary records may be deleted sooner. Verified deletion requests will be handled as required by applicable law, subject to identity verification and lawful exceptions. Limited records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, tax or accounting, or compliance purposes. Backups and technical logs may persist for a limited period before ordinary overwrite or deletion processes complete.

9. Security

CUPID IQ uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, and CUPID IQ cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information; withdraw certain consents; opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and appeal certain decisions. CUPID IQ will provide applicable mechanisms when required. To make a request, contact support@cupidiq.love. CUPID IQ may verify your identity and authority before acting.

11. California notice

California personal information collected through the Services may include identifiers; customer or transaction records; internet or electronic-network activity; relationship, preference, belief, profile, audio or visual, and other user-provided information; sensitive personal information where applicable; and inferences or derived information. The purposes and recipient categories are described in this Policy.

CUPID IQ does not sell personal information for money. If applicable California law treats future advertising or measurement practices as sharing, targeted advertising, or another regulated activity, CUPID IQ will provide the required notice and choices. Nothing in this section is intended to concede that CUPID IQ currently meets any statutory applicability threshold.

12. Children

The Services are intended only for adults age 18 or older. CUPID IQ does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the Services. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact support@cupidiq.love.

13. U.S. operation and processing

CUPID IQ is operated from the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards. Particular Services may have geographic eligibility requirements that will be disclosed when applicable.

14. Feature-specific notices

This Policy is intended to cover CUPID IQ's information categories and purposes broadly. CUPID IQ may still provide concise feature-specific or just-in-time notices when a Service presents a new collection context, makes information visible to other participants, requests identity or biometric information, initiates payment, or otherwise warrants additional explanation or consent. Such notices supplement this Policy and do not necessarily require replacement of the entire Policy.

15. Changes to this Policy

CUPID IQ may update this Policy as the Services evolve. CUPID IQ will post the revised version and update the effective or last-updated date. CUPID IQ will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change applies when required by law.
