This supplemental policy applies to consumer health data protected by Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law, as applicable. It supplements the CUPID IQ Privacy Policy. If this policy conflicts with the general Privacy Policy concerning covered consumer health data, this policy controls to the extent required by applicable law.
1. Consumer health data we may collect
Depending on the Services you choose to use and information you choose to provide, consumer health data may include information or inferences concerning physical or mental health status or experiences; health or wellness experiences; intimate or sexual health information; reproductive or sexual-health information if provided; psychedelic or plant-medicine experiences where they reveal or may be used to infer health status; and other information treated as consumer health data under applicable law. CUPID IQ does not collect every category from every participant.
2. Sources
We may collect covered consumer health data directly from you through your responses, reflections, profile information, support communications, or other information you choose to provide. We may also generate inferences or derived information from information you provide when necessary to deliver a requested CUPID IQ Service.
3. Why we collect and use it
We may collect and use covered consumer health data to provide Services you request; generate participant-requested reports, insights, or experiences; personalize later Services when permitted; maintain security and integrity; respond to participant requests; comply with law; and conduct research, validation, quality assurance, or improvement when permitted by applicable law and any required consent. CUPID IQ will not use covered consumer health data for materially different purposes without providing any notice or consent required by law.
4. Sharing
CUPID IQ may share covered consumer health data with service providers or processors that perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, storage, authentication, security, email delivery, analytics necessary to operate the Services, or other operational support, subject to applicable legal and contractual restrictions. CUPID IQ may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. CUPID IQ does not sell consumer health data. CUPID IQ does not disclose private Relationship Intelligence answers, reports, scores, or consumer health data to advertising platforms for targeted advertising.
5. Consent
Where applicable law requires affirmative consent before collecting, using, or sharing consumer health data, CUPID IQ will request that consent before the applicable activity. A consent request will identify the relevant categories, purposes, and any sharing required by law. Consent to share consumer health data, when legally required, will be obtained separately from consent to collect it.
6. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to confirm whether CUPID IQ collects or shares your consumer health data; access that data; receive information about sources and recipients; withdraw consent; request deletion; and appeal a denial of a request. To exercise a right, contact support@cupidiq.love. CUPID IQ may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
7. Retention and deletion
CUPID IQ retains covered consumer health data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purposes and as permitted by applicable law. Valid deletion requests will be handled as required by applicable law, including instructions to applicable processors or other recipients when required, subject to lawful exceptions and technical deletion timelines.
8. Security
CUPID IQ uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect consumer health data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this supplemental policy as the Services or applicable laws change. We will post the revised version and provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.
